What's a Little More Fear?

What's a little more fear?
When people already fear you
What's a little more isolation?
When they already avoid you

I finally found my power
And I am no longer your slave
I may always been a monster
But some times I do behave

My greatest mistake was believing
You were a kind soul and better
When I realized you were worthless
I'm glad I burnt that love letter

You're an infant in an adult's body
And I wish I realized this before
At least I am stronger now
While you're garbage pretending they're more

About this poem

It's about finding strength in yourself instead of another. I ask you this; did your experiences turn you into a monster or were you always one? Also, I committed a cardinal sin of rhyming a word with the same word. It could not be helped, I do apologize.
