Needless To Title This

It had been my mother.
Who taught me how to respect others.
Regardless of their predicament.
And if I didn't,
She applied swift discipline.

My father's mother and father's father too.
Were there to teach,
Everything else I needed to know.

Conspicuous

Obvious.
And too conspicuous to go ignored.
Yet remains as if,
Where it is does not exist.
Gone.
Forevermore.

Nor is there anywhere,
Evidence and prove of it.
Needing further to explore.
Since a future to deny it,
Has been invited inside...

A Loving For Chaos

A loving for chaos.
In ways displayed.
Within their DNA.
At any cost or the loss,
Of the public's interests.
Proving to do this,
Regardless of being picked and selected.
As leaders chosen,
To defend and protect...
A democratic way of life.

Presenting Theater Meant

Presenting theater meant.
For the purpose to fill seats,
Full to capacity.
Leaving no standing room,
To allow fiction to start it...
Consumed to delude,
Minds prepared to escape a reality.
And any truth to refuse...
To accept over being...

Minor Whiners

Once minor whiners given time,
Climbing up a vine.
Slowly getting,
Attention doing this.
Few who listen to their nonsense,
Can not resist.

Those minor whiners,
Mentally unfit.
Are soon the ones endorsed,
As leaders people pick.
To sit...

Hi, Edwin...your comments remind me of what I use to experience on another poetry website. Now, today? I make sure what I write is done. Then close out my submission to Poetry.com. I've also changed my password a few times as well.

I lived on Perrin Beital Road. Between 410 and 1604. The bigger loop surrounding San Antonio. Back in the 80s.

Hi, EdwinRayTanguma. I appreciate your comments on 'What Is Meant To Intend'. Since as a writer, I am not swayed by religious or political beliefs others may or may not have. I can only admit being aware and conscious of current events. Events that should to all us conscious, be serious about how humanity is affected by them. I am a writer. Powerless to offer remedies or solutions. I comment on what I observe and see from my perspective. Whether or not my point of view is accepted. Like those who may read my submissions to Poetry.com...living in an environment with problems existing.
This permits and provides me with incentive. And, I do the best I can to respect beliefs that are not my own to attempt to influence anyone. However, I do encourage thinking as a process that, hopefully, promotes understanding. Thanks again. Lawrence

Hi. So much I thank you for your comments. It seems that many refuse to see or accept to believe the severity of these times we live. Too much it is assumed. That these occurrences are isolated events. They are not. Especially when we live in a country in which 'children' can obtain and use weapons creating havoc and violence on the streets where we live. As if this increasing madness of sadness is a sign of how sick this craze has become to be normalized! Thank you, once again, alanswansea18. Your comments I appreciate very much. Lawrence

Hi Nebula. I like ur name. Thank you for ur comments. I have been writing in several forms & different formats, mostly to do to place more emphasis on my chosen topic. Some get 'it'. Some 'don't'. That you 'did' amazes me. These days, many take their faith and religious belief with the same feeling as if shopping at a mall to catch a bargain. And then to thank God! Thanks again. Have a great day. Peace/Blessings, Lawrence
