It's Easy for you

ChandraDWells 1981 (Canada)

Speeding down this broken road
Need to stop what's the code?
No Tomorrow, only today
What is it I must do or say?

These signs that surround me
I can't see Because
the voices in my head blind me

Can anyone tell, I'm lying through my teeth
The smile on my face is my best act to date
The pain inside me, downs me
I can't breath, I can't find my way up

Where are you to save me
I am broken can't you tell baby
Asking for help is something you won't hear
Pity is what I fear

Everything I tried so far
Is like driving a dead car
It's easy for people like you
To know just what to do

But for me there is no other way
Saving my breath and leaving it for another day
