Petty

there wrapped in oneself,
the universal conflict.
The petty mind ,
only itself can find,
the delusions of its own projections.

The frantic race,
the contorted face,
the running from this moment.
The febrile mind,

Aversion

desperate attempts to measure,...

than the common beaten track..
Not the usual well worn circuit,

it was a very difficult choice between this ,poem and at least five others, However it appealed to me for its emotive human expression, It is well written ,with a engaging and consistent cadence ,the lines ,thunder and lightening without the rain are to me ,simply beautiful and deepen the whole experience .
