THE FORGOTEN VOTER
From all sectorial in trains
The party politicians were there
Young men and women were there
He also like other citizens was brought
Together with and amongst the throngs of people in train
To walk over his last hurdle and cast for his train
So weary yet courageous he stood
Tottered on his stout supportive stick
With the scorching sun a heaven to him turned
Which by slow moving snakes he trotted
That all his past and present sufferings be washed out
Though now a patient yet patiently shuffled
Beside him they marshaled in their uniforms
To commission their short attempt neatly worked
Their paces proud on splintly fresh tilted land
With expensive toys cramped and save
The old experienced poor man’s only anticipation
To thrust and trust his signature in to the lucky box
Beyond the cameral counter in rattle
Within the boothlike stations in duty
The scribbled crossed paper shackled in
The shrinked wrinkled hand rears to stick
Amongst the ready greedy thirsty and hungry posture the guards
Cleaning him for their next arithmetic
Shortly after he was long gone out
The deserted stations lay mockery tombed graves at dusk
As the horms work their old usual ways through the night
The technicians and engineers readies for their next month
As the party men party it without end
But the old patient eviction in bed ordered
