Poetic Praise
God is to be first, in all that I do, for he was and is and always will be The Beginning and End in everything.
My spirit must reside with him, with Christ by his side, I do long there to forever abide.
However, right here my flesh desires that of the world, though I find it to be very dark and terribly cold.
Having not the desire unto him obey, depression sets in early in the day.
Post Traumatic Stress are the words that do best, to describe the Hell I’ve put myself through.
Oftentimes losing hope for something to begin new.
I have a spirit that speaks to me, though hard to trust with this uncertainty.
I’ve been lied to or though it seems, been led through many unimaginable things.
I decided to pour my heart out onto this page, maybe someone out there feels the same way.
Oftentimes I feel abandoned like the Lord has gone, never to bless me because of the things I have done wrong.
Though here I am writing, for what it is worth, as though I could do this ever since birth.
The Lord has a plan for every woman and man, hard to believe this is true, but it is true, for me and also for you.
For years I would get mixed up in the Spiritual War, not sure of my thoughts or what they were for.
I listened to the Accuser, obsessing on my faults, stunting my growth, accepting the assaults.
I probably confessed my sin a million times, coming to know God’s laws, believing they were my crimes. Instead of lessons learned to endure all times.
Oftentimes believing it to be my end,
For all the times in which I had sinned.
Diagnosed with multiple mental health conditions, though Medical Science I trust not, these symptoms are as real as Hell is hot.
This is a battle I put in my Saviour’s hand, for even Schizophrenia obeys his command.
Our Father God made us a way, for in us he saw sinners, unable to obey.
For Heaven surely awaits the one that trusts in Christ’s blood shed on us.
By his bounties of mercy and mountains of love, he sent us Our Perfect Saviour from up above.
Baptized in The Jordan River, although ever so free, from any sin or iniquity.
The Spirit of God abode upon him in the form of a dove, for all to be sure of his unfailing love.
For Christ our King unto Heaven he will bring, all who confess with the mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart he rose again.
For Christ took our sin upon himself, he suffered and died on That Old Rugged Cross. Right then and there, all of our sins were lost.
The Spirit of God raised him up alive and all new, cleansed of all sin from me and you.
He is now in Heaven, His Spirit with us. He’s at the right hand of God, preparing a place for us to be, forevermore eternally, for The Chosen, Sands of the Sea………...
