Memories

Often an hour may pass
And I have not thought of Bonnie
More often not a minute passes
When her memories don’t haunt me

Not a day goes by
When I don’t think of her
Bonnie may be in the celestial high
All I have here on earth is a deep sigh

Time at work or pleasure
Passes by despite
Despite agonies inside
Agonies that can hide
Only for a while

Then the miseries bite
Miseries at times of pleasure or work
Haunting memories that deeply hurt
Hurt like the the sharp end of the butt

Something is killing me inside
The agonising pain of her demise
Demise of my beloved daughter
From her oblivion she will return never
These haunting thoughts will devour me From inside for ever

Memories are like this
Its because of the deep love
We have for the deceased
Love can be a double edged sword
Which can severe you with ease
It’s an incontrovertible fact of life
That love hurts and pain can unleash
