Stolen

Erick Arvizu 1980 (Williamsburg, VA)

Eyes of the sea
Pierced my facade
My heart’s been stolen
She’s left me awed

A magical smile
I’ve been enchanted
The way that I feel
Can’t be recanted

Strands of chocolate
In a cute ponytail
Swaying and bouncing
Causing my breath to fail

Fierce as a storm
Wild as the wind
An infectious laugh
Without an end

She’s smooth as silk
She’s country and rough
She’s soft as a feather
She’s built Ford tough

She’s stolen my heart
When it was already given
But she can have it all
It’s for her that I’m livin’
