Blasphemy
I was once told a story about the perfect love.
Repeatedly, actually is all we ever hear growing up,
But the truth of the matter is quite hard to discuss.
That’s exactly why they are just fables to feed us.
Because when you’re a kid, everything’s just a mystery ride,
no one want to say how it’s just misery til die.
Beseeched am I,
To reach big heights.
I know, it sounds too good to be true.
You are right, though, it’s definitely to bad to be you.
Not being mean dude, I’m sorry it’s too real. You should really look around, most all you see is evil.
If you’re one of the lucky ones and find a rider for life.
Then shove off bud, get out of my sights.
Oh, derogatory to me?
Please lord, let it be.
They are right, you know, I should shut up and get back to my seat.
Even though we both know I’m just going to get back on my feet.
Hit the streets and speak the obviously fatal.
Truth til death.
Because I preach betrayal.
About this poem
I’ve always found peace in writing. Even more so in mentally dark times and especially as I have grown older. This poem is a self proclamation of my release to want or need to be loved. I had a poem published by y’all when I was. 15 year or 16 year old kid 20 years ago. You can call this as part 2 end to that first one.
