When Something Good Happens

Today marks the day of something good,
Something happened that I never thought would.
I finally got to see you after sixteen years,
And there was lots of joyful, happy tears.

I finally got to hold you and tell you how much I care,
And to finally get to tell you, that I will always be there.
It finally feels like my life is now whole,
I love you with all my heart and soul.

To rate what it means to be in your life again,
It would be a solid ten out of ten.
It means more to me then you will ever know,
And my love will always and forever grow.

So don't ever forget how much I care,
And I am always going to be right there.
And help you through whatever life throws your way,
So you always hear that everything will be okay.
