Reflections
Poetry could be considered subjective,
Depending on who is reading.
If meant in a way that was reflective,
to others, it might seem misleading.
But those with a keen eye and keener a brain,
will never find themselves expecting-
a poem that is lacking interesting language
and varied subjects for reflecting.
The topic could be but a myriad of things,
though many will stick to one guise.
But I find that when given literary wings,
I'm high in the limitless skies.
Interpreting others is quite the mess,
from an author's psyche to wit.
But to those, apt at reading, and doing their best,
The jigsaw of meaning all fits.
And although not everyone is Homer or Plato,
beliefs of theirs can be recorded.
Instead of being a useless potato,
one could get out, go get started.
To write lit'rature is like cooking a meal,
everyone has their own deliverance
Reflecting on work helps critique the cook
"And that has made all the difference."
