Summer Break”

I can’t believe how short it is
I have played outside every day
I want to drink more soda fizz
But instead, the school year starts anyway
And I have to go back and take a quiz
Why can’t school just go away
My unwanted classes so dang hard
After this school year, I will surely be scarred
