The Parallel Lines

The Parallel Lines

I met you and found a friend in you. A cup of
coffee could give me so much glee, but just simply
watching you makes my heart jump so free.

I met you and suddenly we're under the same sky.
Breezy wind, cold water, and a chilly beer shiver
our ply. Our hearts remained so calm and yet so
shy. Your eyes gazed at me like a sly, your lips
delivers me so high.

I met you and now we're breathing the same air.
Giving warmth to each other, so solitaire. In your
arms, I found no despair. Listening to your
heartbeat, there is no such thing I wish to compare.

I met you and found love isn't so smooth.
Astounded and glued , I gladly embraced the truth.
Who gives so much care, when you adore a person
and wish no one to spare?

I met you and everything made sense.
Every decision I've made, the people I've met, the
pain I've had, and the places I've been, all lead my
way to you.

I met you and now I want a new life to start.
Though odds may try to tear us apart, my love for
you would never depart. I will wait for you my
love, 'til the day the parallel lines meet our spot.
