Bridges of Despair
The shadow lurks beyond every tree, like a stranger that insists on following me.
Pure substance vents its way through black organs, never again to see day.
Relapse...
Collapse...
Fade Away...
99 blankets of white, seen on the ground yet no snow to be found.
One last chance to get through the gates of euphoria that you blew.
A ditch appears, and you fall on down, if only you had known that you were hell bound.
Arrived at the castle to meet Him, once bright quarters now gloomy and dim.
So save yourself the trouble of living in this dump…
For eternal misery sucks!
Have the courage to jump!
*The moral of the story is that self mutilation might ease your pain away, but self-medication is what will bring you through the next day.
_ Not sure if you understand, but you jump off the bridge of despair into the sea of happiness. Also, self mutilation is when your self-fulfilling prophecy gets the best of you when what you need is to do something just for yourself to relax, 'tis better for the soul than the stress of beating one's self up all the time. I am not promoting self harm or suicide, just to be clear.)
