Why

Tricia Wright 1983 (Bangor Maine)

People lie and show you they don't care
Why is it the only way to disappear
Stronger than anyone will ever know
Trying to tell people, trying to show
Ripping into a million pieces
All I want is three more wishes
If ever a day for the feeling
Heart of the never healing
Tired of the pain and hurt
Give a reason to over blurt
So many thoughts go array
Give the strength to perfect the way
Living with all these scars
Forever they are in the stars
Having the biggest hole in the heart
Ripping, stretching, and tearing apart
Knowing when it's enough
Making this life so rough
Forsaken and thrown to the ground
Not really wanting to be around
Making the pain cut through like razors
Get knocked down with a ton of lasers
All the might all the power
Down to this one last flower
What it feels like to be broken
Never being so outspoken
Sometimes writing keeps the faith
Taking it from first to eighth
The damage of being torn into two
Giving up on everything that's do
Time to end all this unclarity
Give it away like it's charity
