I in Me
Elton A Roberts Sr 1975 (Buchanan)
I live a life full of pains and grieve that see I in Me
Troubled by the things of the world , am strong awaiting to see a hopeful tomorrow from a painful today .
I tried to fall back and give up but , my spirit is being inspired by those sweet and secret voices , I keep hearing never ! never you give up , for there's a tomorrow that is greater than your painful today.
I sleep in the streets , I eat in the dumps , I walk from north to south looking for what ? I just don't know.
I see my friends and families , but they look at me as just who I am.
I try to smile , but frown has taken over my face that I don't see I in Me.
The world has a lot of us that are suffering from I in Me , hoping and believing for a brighter and greater tomorrow .
About this poem
Is all about the less fortunate and drugs abused not wanting to live that kind of abusive life .
