Symphony of Lights
She shivered, in the sheer darkness of the room.
Gasping as if it would indeed become her tomb.
Caged by the cold walls, with nothing but gloom.
Death was near, yet destiny was far off doom.
As the Symphony Of Lights lighted up the dark room.
It provided her warmth, and sight. Yet she was blind.
She had somehow lost her will to write
Getting closer to the lights, she knew it wasn't right.
Closing in at the window pane, she felt kinda alright.
It felt cold, as if she was there without an invite.
As the Symphony Of Lights darkened her sight.
It showed her the truth, and yet she was blind.
She thought he was the path she had wished for.
But he was a sharp light, who was but a bore.
Was it her fault for thinking of something more?
Should she have left when the wound was just a sore?
As the Symphony Of Lights revealed her pore.
It showed her his true face, however, she was blind.
She stood, and got closer to that one light.
She'd had enough, yet she didn't bear an ounce of spite.
Was it her fault for loving him with all her might?
Would trying harder, make everything alright?
As the Symphony Of Lights gave her sight,
It led her to a place, where she wouldn't be blind.
She opened her eyes for the first time since.
It was difficult at first, but it became easier to convince.
She'd left her old self behind. She turned it into mince.
As the Symphony Of Lights helped her regain evince.
She wasn't looking for this new light, afraid she'd condense.
As she saw him, the new light, he led her over the fence.
Where his light washed away the darkness,
She no longer shivered, she was no longer blind.
