THEY WHO LIFT US UP

To those great men and women
Who strive to mold us into a better
version of ourselves.

To those lovely souls
Who thole to carve out a brighter
Path for us where we can promenade.

To those beautiful minds
Who strengthen the chink in our war armours
And shield us from illogical elements.

To those find men and women
We secretly adore you
Even as we are openly sharp at times.

To those who lift us up
Not minding the fact
that their arms bears a million weights.

To our teachers, parents, guardians and mentors
Who try their best in spite of the weather
We hope to build you a fine castle

And adorn it with colourful roses.

About this poem
