My Mask

-My smiles hide my tears, my laugh hides my screams, it's been this way for years things aren't what they seem I'm the girl who has a tough exterior I'm the girl who has a lot of problems but I keep them bottled up inside but take one good look into my eyes and tell me what do you see...... You won't see happiness, you won't see pretty, the way I act makes it seem like I'm just fine but if you take a real good looking to my eyes you'll see the hurt the pain and you'll see a girl who's lost trying to find her way a girl who's trying to find the place where she truly belongs where she's loved for who she is and not judge for the wrong decision she's made in a bad mistake she's chose along the way, just look into my eyes and you'll see a girl who's seeking to discover what true happiness, is what her purpose is, and exactly why she was put on this Earth, she's looking for somewhere she can call home, whether it be a person or a place, and where she's no longer lost.... Do you know who this girl is? I do..... Because she is me.
