The Lonely Planet
While everyone revolves around their own sun
In this vast universe,
I'm the lonely planet
Just purely existing,
Breathing yet dying
Clouded with stormed thoughts that blackhole might eat me up
I jump through wormholes in search for the right sun
There was this sun that gives too much light, it actually burned me up
There was this sun that doesn't give enough light, it doesn't bring happiness in me
Tired and feeling hopeless, I stopped searching
"Are you okay?" he asked.
I looked at him and there's the lonely moon
"Just tired" I answered, felt like crying
"I feel the same" as he was looking intently at the brightest star in the universe.
For that reason, both of us needed each other.
We watched Aurora Borealis together from the sky of Earth
We captured moments like Nebula formed from stardust
And protected each other from asteroid and comets
I was completely happy and felt like I don't need a sun at all
It's all the moon I need, nothing else but the moon
But the moon realizes one thing
He'd still wanna be with the brightest star
Without hesitation, he walked away.
And just like from the very start,
I'm still the lonely planet
But this time, a hole in the core
About this poem
This is all about a planet wishing to be with someone but ends getting hurt
