Breakage
I hear you. I see you. And, my story is common. I try to laugh. And, I try to smile.
But when I'm alone I feel invadage. The voices surround me. And, all the thoughts I feel that help me control myself.. go away. Yet, my strength is here and I cry down to the point where I don't know who i am. And I don't feel like myself anymore. My tears flow. And I cover my ears. Praying that the voices disappear. Sometimes I do Break down. And I cry out. Sometimes I do scream not at myself but to the voices. My heart doesn't shatter but I do feel a breakage from me being in control.
About this poem
I hear voices. They overwhelm me. I deal with depression and they stress me out. Writing poetry helps me express my thoughts, and feelings. I've been writing ever since I was little.
