I wish I had It Fair

Somedays are the worst
Nicely rhymed and so well-versed

The stories we never heard
The poems we put first

Seems like a nightmare
I wish I had it fair

Calling out to someone
And the struggle to become one

Burying all the stories
And accepting all the sorrys

Going to hide this despair
I wish I had it fair

Waking up to a new sky
Once again we're ready to fly

But don't forget where you are
The sky is still so far

Do something and bear the glare
I wish I had it fair

About this poem

This poem is something I deeply feel living in this society. From teaching me the dark realities of life to encouraging me to move on this society is pretty much responsible for the decisions I make. You can have your own interpretations accordingly. I leave this poem in your hands.
