The rose

Kanika.m 2005 (Banglore)

Once I was a small seed
Never knew what I would be
Never knew how I would be
And during my journey
I went through pruning and rough winters
Many of my pals chose to close their petals before they even saw their sun and met their bees
But I stood still to prosper again
With a hope that I would see the sun and bees
Yes ,I have beautiful petals
Yes ,I have painful Thorns
But I would not blame myself for having any of these becoz it's a gift for me from nature
Many of them crushed my petals
But I forgave them with my fragrance
At last I die with a contentment
That ...
All my life I stood still with a hope to spread love and positivity
And yes , I did it
I was a symbol of love and passion
And I am ...
The Rose .
