She looks on with eyes of the twilight
So bright and shining she can see into my heart
Yet she just sits there, staring
What is it that she is thinking?
Is she thinking of me?
No, for I am not that lucky
Yet she always smiles at me
She always is there for me,
but I can't always be there for her
I love her yet I can't tell her
Why? I do not know
Still, if we were together, she would never be unsatisfied
for I would always listen if nothing else
And, when we are alone
She won't have to ask if I still care
I would do whatever she needs of me
only I could not give up what I believe in

Still, her beauty is transfixing
It puts me in her spell whenever I see her

but now, she is not
