In The Silence
In The Silence
In the silence you will find me
Beneath the busy and the boundaries
Where the quiet space of
Meaning and substance
Dwells underneath a tree
Between the extremes
My path takes me
To a place called
Emptiness
No existence exists
Apart from all others
And I am not really here.
The Awakened One is here in me
Where detachment sets me free to see
What dissatisfies it makes
One suffer brings unhappiness
I have found the cure
Called compassion
Breathe in, breathe out
And discover peace
Freedom is letting go
No attachment
Means nothing can hurt you
Except your own thoughts.
In the silence I am awake now
Paying attention to everything around
The false architect called ego
No longer imprisons me
The door through noise
Gives me peace in every step
The lotus blooms
From deepest mud
All the way in clear water
My fragrance is pleasant
And I release it generously
As a vessel of love
The world has waited for.
