My hearts sorrow

In the depths of sorrow and despair,
My heart aches, my soul stripped bare.
The weight of sadness bears me down,
Like a heavy cloak, I cannot shake or drown.

The tears fall freely, a steady stream,
As I try to hold onto hope and dream.
But the darkness creeps in, a silent thief,
Stealing my joy and my belief.

In the silence, I hear echoes of pain,
Memories of loss, of love in vain.
The emptiness consumes me whole,
Leaving me with nothing, no goal.

So here I am, lost and alone,
A broken heart, a shattered home.
The sadness lingers, never to fade,
As I try to find solace in the shade.
