Broken Pieces
Marcus O'Neal 1986 (OKC)
You use to sit next to me upon your throne
You were my better half you made me feel grown
All I ever wanted was to claim you as my own
But if all things you chose to leave me alone
I guess now your true colors have been shown
You shot me as if I had on a bullet proof vest
I gave you everything at least I gave it my best
I made you number one in my life and said f*ck the rest
But you chose to rip my heart out of my chest
Why did you have to set me up to fail
You locked me up and attempted to set sail
You really thought I couldn't be broken cause I'm a male
But you forsaken me and cast me into the pics of hell
Now all I can do is collect the pieces of my broken shell.
