The Child and the Forest
Title: The Child and the Forest
In a world so vast and unkind,
A child lost and left behind,
With a heart so heavy and a mind so tired,
Finding solace in nature, the child aspired.
The trees, the leaves, the chirping birds,
The rustling of the wind, soothing words,
The forest, a place of comfort and peace,
A retreat, a haven, a place to release.
The child, with tears in their eyes,
Cried out to the woods, with heartfelt sighs,
"Take me in, embrace me tight,
Hold me close, take away my fright."
The forest, with its arms so wide,
Welcomed the child, with no divide,
The trees, the leaves, the chirping birds,
Listened to the child's unspoken words.
The child found solace in the forest's embrace,
A place to heal, a haven of grace,
Nature's gifts, a balm for the soul,
A place where the child could feel whole.
In the forest, the child found a friend,
A place where the heart could mend,
A bond that would last forevermore,
A connection with nature, the child did adore.
The child and the forest, a tale of love,
A bond so strong, a gift from above,
Nature's embrace, a balm for the soul,
A place of peace, where the child felt whole.
