I that I could see
Desmond muzite 2002 (Rusape)
I thought I knew what love was,
But then I met you,
You showed me what it was,
And then you tore it in two.
I thought you were the one,
The love that I could see,
But now I see what you've done,
And it's not what love should be.
You played with my heart,
And you played with my mind,
You tore my world apart,
And left me far behind.
I thought we had something real,
A love that could survive,
But you showed me how you feel,
And it wasn't love, it was a lie.
Now I'm left with nothing,
But a broken heart and soul,
I thought you were my everything,
But now I see you're just a black hole.
