InEyes

River 1956 (London)

Like ice coming from water
The clouds cut through sky.
With no sound of rain.

Image of a hand holding sand
Opening and dissolving
Into air
Just feelings expressed.
Grasping at nothing .

Sounds of flowers growing Imagined.
Watched but can’t be heard.
Pictures painted on glass
Dissolving .

We walked through the park
Holding hands .
Hoping to hear the sound of flowers growing . Blooming .
Love growing .

No sound of rain.
No grasping at air.
Just feelings expressed.

Lovers see love in each others eyes .

As if through glass , always clean
Felt but can’t be seen
As a picture painted on a glass in rain
Always clean .

Lovers see love in each others eyes .
