About this poem

I wrote this as I meditatively reflected upon a river on some family property up in Utah. I was inspired by the protagonist of Herman Hesse's Siddhartha doing some inspirational mediation by a river at times. So, this poem reflects the inspiration I received from observing the Taylor Grove River.
