Haiku Nabe

I've been writing poetry since I was 12. Most of my material was dark and depressing. My poetry reflected a lot of personal mental anguish and emotions I couldn't verbally express. I didn't really have it hard growing up. I had a family that loved me however, when you struggle on a personal level, that's usually a sign of something outside of my circle conflicting directly with who I am inside of my circle. My poems used to sort of be all over the place but equally a dispersion of emotion which was very apparent. Today?
