September
September.
We paint death as a pretty picture.
But what if life is good as it gets for some us?
We fell into a cycle of living for the world.
We idolize the things we can hold, those very things leave us grasping for air and the will be left behind the day we die.
Standing in front of us, begging for forgiveness.
For some it will be too late.
But not you, not now.
Before you would have been sent to the pits of hell damned for eternity.
You lived a life of sin.
God gave you a second chance, while remaining alive.
He showed you the fear. The way the darkness sticks to your skin.
You wanted to tear yourself apart, you felt death while sitting next to the people who loved you.
Paralyzed by fear, you dug your own grave.
Laid in the beautiful grass as the rain fell down.
But that still wasn’t enough. You endured 5 days of pain.
Laying awake in the darkness, restless, begging for god to take you but you weren’t ready.
Death isn’t pretty for all, saints are hidden behind a black veil, the lure you in with a devilish smile.
Behind some graves lives empty souls wishing they could dig themselves out but for some children it’s just too late.
The end is up to you.
