I stumbled
I stumbled and I fell through the cracks of hell's abyss,
Lost in the void, searching for a path that offers bliss,
Guided by dark shadows, I traverse this treacherous plight,
Yearning for a glimmer of hope, for the return of light.
This world, a frigid wasteland, icy and unforgiving,
For those striving to survive, it feels like life keeps slipping,
With little money in hand, living paycheck to paycheck,
Jobs scarce and elusive, bodies and souls left a wreck.
To survive these cold nights, one must possess riches untold,
Facing freezing temperatures as emotions begin to fold,
As the frigidity seeps into my very core,
My heart turns to stone, numbed by despair's roar.
I question my worth, convinced I'm not so bad,
Yet the world paints me as a villain, leaving my spirit sad,
Why am I perceived as a failure, trapped in this dark abyss?
Searching for answers, hoping for a moment of bliss.
But within the shadows, there's a flicker of light,
A lingering resilience, burning with all its might,
Though circumstances may label me with disdain,
I'll rise above their judgments, refuse to bear their chain.
For I know deep within, I possess strength and grace,
Striving to create a better reality in life's fierce race,
I am not defined by the roles they prescribe,
Within me lies potential, waiting to be realized.
So, let the world's icy winds blow with their scorn,
I'll rise above the darkness, a phoenix reborn,
No longer the villain or the failure in their eyes,
I'll find my own purpose and let my spirit rise.
