There has been no rain

There has been
No
Rain and the garden has died
And the sun beats down on this camper of mine.
Where there once was a house and my life was inside
And a fire took it out leaving nothing behind
The dirt is tall now and burnt memories scattered all around
And I can’t hardly breathe or even make a sound.
I have many friends they are furry with fleas
some cats and some dogs
Take a few of them home will you please?
And the doors stay open and you can go right in
Because locking the door doesn’t matter
To them
And the neighbors all have opinions and something to say
what makes them any better? Who the f*ck are they?
Sometimes you break because it’s not fair
And hunger hurts and it seams like no one cares
So you cry by yourself and let some of it out.
But no one hears while you as you scream and shout
It wasn’t always this way life used to be great.
But this is it now and maybe it’s too late
To get out Of this place I have put myself in
if I could I promise ……I’ll never fall so far again
Little things you never appreciated because you had never went without
So Im just praying for rain to fall in this god awful drout
