just another day

It seems just another day.
im left with their memories circling me.
i try and ignore the sounds of their laughter as they play.
alone now, please could you allow me to be?
for my mind the demons are holding.
just another day without my children
since the day the government has stolen.
using them seems so dam revolting.
they destroyed a family only to use them as prey.
now can you understand why this is my hardest time?
and what now seems just another day?

About this poem

how could the ones behind the badge the ones we thought we could trust expect us to celebrate holidays or to even live a normal life when they steal the rights of an innocent parent
