Cruel fate
Cruel Fate
A tale unfolds, of my lover's cruel fate
Through soft and gentle touch, a soul is consumed by night.
Fate so unkind, cruel with no human heart
Snatched my beloved, forever and for free.
Now my heart is heavy with sorrow and dark as night.
For I now mourn the love of my life, and death has stolen what we held dear.
The memories we shared, now becomes bitter,
Now how can I face this world with fear?
The days seem endless, and the nights so long,
As I try to make sense of what's gone wrong.
I know that you're gone, but still holds on,
I'm really lonely with your absence by my sight.
I, so yearn to hear your laughter once again,
To feel your love and ease this pain.
But fate has taken you away from my side,
I'll love you forever, and keep memories that are close at heart.
