Struggling to Freedom

To struggle is to get by,
To struggle is to try,
To struggle is to cry,
And to struggle is to lie … to yourself.

But to end the struggle is to fly
And to end the struggle, you must untie,
all the knots you’ve become entangled in - for only then will you be able to fly…
Fly all the way to freedom.

About this poem

This poem is a musing about the cost of living crisis and how things are quite difficult at the minute. I express, however, that I am also hopeful that good fortunes will come our way.
