Tall angels of New York
Two big buildings standing tall,
almost like angels watching over us all.
a place where people worked all day
and wear their children love to play
Streets filled with people going their way let nothing could happen on this beautiful day
In the store not a place to be found
if you turn too fast you'd be on the ground cars zoom by like birds in the wind ,
to get to a place where their friends meet them
in a matter of seconds disaster took it's trail. upon our two angels life turned to hell
people scattered like ants on the cake
cars started moving faster than Fate
siren sounds heading the way
where there are angels falling today
news people surrounded the Angels with concern
then both buildings started to burn fireman came up hoes in hand
As helicopters started to land
people shaking they're all full of fright policeman started breaking up fights
hours passed by and it's finally calming down
but many people still linger holding a frown
mothers cried and children weep
Can't find their loved ones who are buried with debris
Days flew by many people still hide underneath our Angels where people have died
names are carved into a wall
a stream of tears from us all
the flag started up the pole
to show the people it's okay to let go
even after many years
family still shed many tears
are two tall Angels still in our hearts
and the people who had to part
the world trade center was hit by a madman who came to hurt us from Afghanistan
In loving memory of those who died on September 11th forever in our hearts
