Course Work: Nature Poem (2024)

Whoa, did you see that bird dive?
Into the water it went then back up
Soaring high with ease.

Now watch me take flight.
And soar up into the sun rise.
As the wind glides my wings higher.

The wind rushes through the forest
Drying the dew-covered ground as
The forest creatures stir awake.

The animals bring the forest to life.
As they dance through their daily shuffles
The wind brings the sun in through the trees.

And the sun is shining gloriously and brightly.
Wakes the earth into a dancing groove.
As the shadows spring into focus.

What is first shall be repeated in the end.
And the end shall be barren, but…
The middle shall have life, hope, and bliss
