In this fine land
In the wee hours of the night,
Trapped in my hyperspace,
And saw my name enlarged on the pixelated strokes,
My eyes flooded and cheeks ruddy,
All that is foregone by time,
We live in a world destroyed by crime,
The drive by our people,
Leads this world to deprive,
Behind the screens,
A different world untold,
Where brutality blooms
Our hearts pierced and souls fragile,
The choices made by its people leads it to thrive,
Or will it, led by corruption and crime,
The innovations brought about,
Leaves this world full of doubt,
As their mouths left wide open,
Changing the course of history,
There’s no room for doubt,
Our faces unlock this world of bliss,
But underneath our hearts full of grim,
In the lonely corners of my brain,
Their lively faces appeared
Laughter engraved on their fully stretched skin,
The world pushing me over the edge,
Her gentle hug embracing me.
Oh, grandma release me from the shackles of this world.
