i hate my eyes
why aren’t mine as vast and beautiful as theirs?
mine are deep pits of void and darkness
found only at the deep trenches of the sea
with pupils never seen, never found
red burns on the bottom like a small rash
for if you had eyes like mine, you would also cry
lashes that barely reaches the bottom of my eyes
veins crawling on my eyes like earthworms underground
her eyes are detailed, elegant
it holds diamonds and skies
lashes thick and long like many pieces of string put together to make a masterpiece
her eyes look as if they were painted by talented artists
working long and hard to make a masterpiece
masterpiece.

mine are pieces of dark rock found underground
an endless black hole
my eyes are pieces of dirt and rocks put together to make a mess
mess.

why would anyone want eyes like mine when eyes like hers exist?
