The irony

In his head life plays a crooked game.
He's feeling so betrayed and spending his time looking for someone to blame.
When only yesterday he was young and so carefree. His world was a playground; a boat on a mirror sea.
Looking deep into the face of change, his heartbeats a silent rage.
And now he's locked within a sorrow cage, with no key. The irony.
Was there something in the air he breathed?
Memories aren't what they used to be.
Nothing left here to believe.
A slave to thoughts that won't set him free.
When only yesterday he was young and so carefree. His world was a playground; a boat on a mirror sea.
Looking deep into the face of change, his heart beats a silent rage.
And now he's locked within a sorrow cage, with no key. The irony.
His life bleeds.

This made me stop and think about each line. You writing, it's very similar to mine. Words rarely spoken, tho inside there's something broken.
