Headlights

A picture in real life.
You seem to know my love well.
Eternally golden.
Like a solitary bird in the clouds
Or the light on the waves.
Daisies still live on your wrist.
My lost lily on the grass
Singing the colours onto trees.
Your transparent love
Holds my hands out that beg of you
To sparkle like the stars in my hands.
Won't you rest your hands in mine once more,
As the clouds rest behind me like wings as I look up for you.
I remember your red lipstick, so rustic and alive on our lips.
Your shoulders bore the journey of your life.
Half hidden in the shadows of life.
The sea could never balance on the quantities of our love songs.
And the snow left no footsteps back to you.
Now the moon turns the clouds into dreams as the owls bloom into flight.
The diamonds grow into your sunrise while our love fades away into the smiles of our sleep.
