Party
Tony Woodward 1946 (Cheshire)
Dilettants and sycophants and miscreants and deviants
Are dancing cheek to cheek,
Trying to get a peek
At those Flash Girls Trash Girls
Dropping cigarette ash girls
On the Carpet at the Penthouse at the PARTY,
Business men and business girls
Doing deals save the world
They have to exchange names before they play this game
Yo Paul this is Phil he’s in computers drinking shooters
He likes to take a hike through a million megabytes
On the carpet at the Penthouse at the Party
Monkeys Flunkies Madison Avenue Junkies doing what they can
To keep right up with Sam
whose a spendoid trendoid
with a wife whos got a toy boy
On the carpet at the penthouse at the party
Sly Girls Shy girls
Great big Hollywood eyes girls
Trying to make a start trying to get a part
In the movies big time
Practicing Marcel mime
On the carpet at the penthouse at the party
Chorus
Girl down there with the long black hair
I think her name is Olga from the upper Volga
I think she is a spy for the wife of a real bad guy
His name is Ice Pick
And he got this party trick involving concrete
For the people he don’t like
On the carpet at the penthouse at the party
Here's the dancing fool his name is Jules
He’s the richest guy in town
He wears the crown of the dollar clown
He builds condiminiums for rich Indians like Apache Joe and his Arapaho buddy Sam
The original medicine man
