Into the Void, Act III: The Void, Chapter 2 - Falling Through the Dark
I can't see anything in front of my reaching Hands.
In this Void, all things are hidden from my Eyes.
With blackened Fingers, and charcoal Tongue
I'll set into motion what's already begun.
And what the Left Hand doesn't know;
That the Right Hand is poised
To strike at the Throat.
My Eyes only see what I show them.
And you were all Mouth.
Always getting in the last word
Before I make a sound
Let yourself be heard.
If you can hold your breath
Long enough to–
I'm falling.
I'm falling.
I'm
Falling
Through The Dark.
Everything floats down here,
And Everyone floats.
Come float with us,
Come float into the black.
I don't want to be here anymore,
I just want to leave this place,
This feeding ground of an unseen beast.
We promise to return when It starts up again,
But not a moment before.
We'll forget all we knew, and bury it with you
Down here.
I'm falling.
I'm falling.
I'm
Falling
Through the Dark.
See the man, who casts no shadow,
Shapeless shift, sans soul, drifting down between the orbs.
In this place that exists unhallowed
All is draped in darkness, all light absorbed.
Our eyes are broken,
Our words mangled.
Best left unspoken
While our intentions entangle.
I'm falling.
I'm falling.
I'm
Falling
Through the Dark.
You look so pretty from down here.
From beneath your poison pedestal.
If you'd ever spare a downward glance,
Perhaps you'd see me too.
Enveloped in the Black.
I'm falling.
I'm falling.
I'm
Falling
Through the Dark.
You look so pretty from down here.
