Rhythm Quilt
Let the African rhythms take us OUT,
While the Asian winds bring us IN.
Let the Latin salsa sway us sensuous,
While the Reggae saunters our souls to rest.
 Let the Irish step dance tap earth groundless,
While the Indian sutras bend us boundless.
Let Rap and Rock resonate life's commotion,
While Ballads & Blues memorialize love's emotions.
America is built on this Rhythm Quilt!
America's grace is this Rhythm Quilt!
 Let the Jazz tones free our spirit's search,
While Gospel harmonies flow from the church.
Let Life's lessons unfold from country & acoustic guitars,
While classical Baroque transcends time and stars.
