Shadow of Darkness

I was alone, you gave me light
You wiggled the bait, I took the bite
 Captured, I can see
For you have truly got hold on me
 Time pass, I grow attached
But then the lock, you bust with axe
The chain falls, I as well
 The darkness overcomes
 I am blind once more
I am truly torn, from which I love
Free like dove, black as night
 Haha, I still no sight
Though I soon come to see,
 That am no longer be
For when you broke my chain
I lost the grip on me
I walk thy shadow of darkness
Gone for eternity, none for seen
My body sleeps, my spirit weeps
 Gone, thine shadow of darkness
