the grain
7.
THE GRAIN----DR.K.G.BALAKRISHNAN
Every speck, the relevant
The grass, the virus, the breath,
A tear drop, a hum, a hush,
A ray of hope, the tiniest!
This banyan seed does speak
The Actuality the strange;
The Rishi is echoed
In the feeblest note
That breeze fluting to the Space;
The instant paints to be the joule;
The wink that thrills the whole!
The mute breathing to be
The un-mute spell, the Maya;
The Nirguna to guna
The Nirmama to mama
The Nirakara to akara
The beat the anitya!
Knew the Saga the Rishi
Chanted to the waves,
To the bird singing
To the moment blooming
To the bee humming
The Beethoven's
Nth symphony!
