My dear self

Dear inner self,
My life would have been
a journey devoid of path
if you weren't beside me
in all those pain and joy.
I found my way back to you,
and I feel the protection
as in my mother's womb.
And realized that dwelling
with you is my favourite spot.
The air is warmer than before
I see those beautiful things in life
And adorn them with the craze
protect them with love.
Only then I knew
you made me comprehend
that I was more beautiful than them
And only because of that
I rejoiced in seeing
the beauty in them.
